Seattle: God heals 2 deaf/mute women through 63-year-old Vietnamese grandmother

Seattle, Washington
Sunday Evening, May 30, 2010

Dear Partners in the Great Commission,

The meetings this weekend here in Seattle are done, and the Lord's grace was most evident. First we held Basic Training II for the Annual Vietnamese Latter Rain Conference which was held at Thien An (Heavenly Peace) Baptist Church. Following the Training we held evangelistic healing services on Saturday and Sunday evening. The Lord's power to heal through the trained disciples to confirm the truth of the gospel was quite evident. Because of the miracles, fourteen people accepted Christ over the weekend. My nephew Ryan and his wife Crystal (and Crystal's mother Renee) were present throughout, and the Lord used them to ministering healing effectively.

There was also a 63-year-old Vietnamese sister named Christine. The Lord had called this fiery woman to heal the sick and preach the gospel, but she had not been trained how to do it. Last Wednesday evening she just "happened" to be at the Presbyterian Church where I was introducing The Elijah Challenge Basic Training. She knew that this was what she needed, and made plans to come to Basic Training II held at the Latter Rain Conference this past weekend. The next evening (I believe on Thursday) the Lord visited her at her home in a powerful and personal way. Then she came to Basic Training II which began on Friday evening. On Saturday during the Training, Christine ministered to a woman named Ilona who suffered from complete deafness in her right ear as a result of a needle being inserted into the ear when she was a young girl. Christine ministered to her three times, but there was no improvement at all in Ilona's hearing.

But by Saturday evening after the Training Christine was ready for war at the evangelistic healing meeting.  She ministered to Ilona again, and this time the Lord opened up her ear and she could hear Christine whispering into her right ear. Another woman testified of experiencing God's healing power come upon her as Christine laid hands on her. Then on Sunday evening the following day, Christine ministered to two women who were both deaf and mute, one completely since birth. The Lord healed them, and both could repeat words after Christine. She could not contain herself and was screaming and dancing around after the Lord used her so powerfully.

This radical grandmother is now making plans to heal the sick and preach the gospel openly at a shopping mall, and even to make announcements on the radio offering "free healing."
Christine was just one of many of the Lord's disciples who was trained during these past two weekends to heal the sick and preach the gospel as Jesus commanded his disciples two thousand years ago. Plans are now being discussed for another Training event in Seattle on a much bigger scale next year in May, followed by a possible healing outreach in a public venue.

The Elijah Challenge Alumni Club has been established to provide follow-up and evangelistic healing opportunities in public places for the newly-trained disciples. We hope  that this Alumni Club will eventually organize mission trips to Vietnam and other countries where they will apply and teach The Elijah Challenge.
It has been a most fruitful two weekends here in Seattle. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer, dear brethren!

This Saturday Lucille and I are leaving for two weeks to train the Lord's disciples in Australia!

Gratefully in Christ,

Miracles at Foursquare Church, Butaun, Minadanao

Dear Pastor Albert

To all the TEC Teams, Thank you for the prayers!  All glory belongs to JESUS

I was ministering at Butuan Foursquare church last Sunday May 17, 2010. Instead of preaching a sermon, I taught them how to heal the sick using the Elijah Challenge Model of End-time Evangelism material. I showed them how to heal the sick using the authority that has been given to us when we become born again.
There were more than 10 people who received instant healing and deliverance from pain. One American, who received healing, has a prison and hospital ministry in Butuan City, Agusan Del Sur. He was a military Chaplin from Florida and now living in the Philippines. He was amazed to see ordinary believers, including himself, laying hands on the infirm and healing them instantly.
The miracles included severe arthritic pain gone and numbness in limbs for two years completely gone. A lady who had pain in her back for years was praising God. She had suffered constant pain whenever she had her period. She was weeping with joy because the pain in her lower back had immediately disappeared.

I heard a rumbling sound coming from the stomach of Pastor Johny, who is the pastor of this church, after I had commanded healing to his heart and intestines. Pastor Johny also felt the heat inside of his body. At this moment, he is here in Cebu for a final medical check up because he is scheduled for a bypass operation.  I am waiting for the good news of his healing being confirmed medically. There was another instant healing of enlarged spleen but we needed medical confirmation. I thank God for all the miracles that are now happening in my ministry.
Hallelujah! Praise the Name of Jesus

Filipino Villagers Healed At Healing Service in Cebu

First Healing Service at Toledo, Cebu, Philippines
Organized by Rev Butch Nacua and Rev Ramil
Location: Universal Church of Christ
14 March 2010

Kingdom Praise Assembly is situated at the Mandaue City, Cebu. Pastor Butch Nacua is the pastor in charge of this new congregation of young people and Pastor Neo Duran is the Assistant Pastor. On 14 March 2010, 18 young people, including Pastor Butch's young son, Moses, surrendered their lives to Jesus after Grace and I ministered to them.

In the afternoon, we travelled to Toledo which was two hours from Mandaue.  It was already dark when we arrived at Ibo, the ‘barangay’ at the outskirt of Toledo City.  Pastor Ramil and his wife, Pastora Ahmey are the pastors of Universal Church of Christ which is really a Pentecostal church. They quickly organized the first healing service and soon people started to show up.

Grace had organized the young people and together they presented a Mandarin worship song The congregation was thrilled because that was the first time they heard a worship song in Chinese. My message that evening was about the danger of looking for the ‘anointed preachers, prophets or apostles’. Then I shared about the extreme teaching on the theology of prosperity and also the theology of poverty. The only appropriate theology is the theology of stewardship. The primary idea is to serve God with what we have. Then I shared about Elijah Challenge and the importance of using the authority given by God to heal the sick whenever we share the Gospel. As there was no LCD projector, I could only read the Scriptures without the benefit of visual aids. For further clarity, Sister Beth, who is one of the church leaders, helped to read the Scriptures in Cebuano.

When it was time to demonstrate the power of God, the Filipino shyness ran rampant. After much encouragement, five participants came forward. The rest of the participants were invited to lay hands and exercise their faith to heal the infirm. As the infirm were all Christians, I invited Pastor Ramil to lead them in a prayer of confession and repentance. The divine healing upon Christians is conditional while healing the non-believers is not. After prayer and instructions, the teams were ready to heal. Amazingly, everybody was healed at the first command. This was the first time that we had all the people healed like that. In most churches it usually took two or more commands to heal the infirm.

A lady was healed instantly of pain in her abdomen. Another lady was healed of the pain in her heel and joint. A man received instant relief from the pain in his arthritic knee and rejoiced at the miracle. A middle-aged lady was foot was also healed. She proclaimed that the pain had left completely. A young girl with pain in her chest testified that after the command, the pain was gone too. Later a few young people laid hands on a teenage boy and healed him of his shoulder pain.

That evening was an exciting night for the members of this church in Toledo. They rejoiced because now they could heal the sick in the name of Jesus whenever they share the Gospel. Many promised to invite friends and relatives to the next healing service.
